The Halting Gait EP is a simple celebration of sound with four synthesizer driven instrumentals. Recorded in the autumn and early winter, these songs have a dark texture but never wallow in it. The sound components heard on the Halting Gait EP consist of analog synthesizers, old drum machine patterns, modern rhythms, and abstract human voices. The drums are set low in the mix to give the other sounds room to breathe.
